This Past Weekend

What an amazing weekend we had! On Thursday we found out the gender of our first child, a boy. And to celebrate we went out to eat at Wingers (one of Pat's favorite restaurants). The proud mom and dad!

Then it was Ainsleigh's Birthday on the 12th! Turning one is a big deal! ;D She got some really cute presents and clothes!

Then on Saturday Morning, we hung out with the Johnsons. Mom and Colleen made Fudge, Caramel, Truffles, Rice Crispy Treats, and the oh so famous Nuts and Bolts (Its a sort of Chex Mix). While me, Patrick, Brad, and Steph played the Wii. We also took a family picture of Colleen and her family. To cute!

Then later that day we started setting up Grandma's Christmas Tree. Although we didn't get to finish we got the hard part over. The fluffing of the branches. If you look you can see my baby bump in one of the pictures ;D

We had a fantastic weekend, and to top it off. In 4 days Me and Patrick leave for Seattle! HOW EXCITING! I hope you all have a great Christmas too!

Introducing...

I know you all have been waiting with baited breath so here is William Kyle Johnson. Isn't he a cutie!!! Anyway, I know that these are quite rudimentary but you get the gist. We will be having more pictures coming up after the Holidays but here he is! This image is his profile his head is on the right section and his spine reaches out to the left.

This is his arm and hand, SOOO CUTE!

We are so happy and excited that we have a baby coming into our lives, we feel blessed and we appreciate the support that we are receiving from our family and friends. Thank you all for sharing this special time with us.

2 More Days!

How is it possible that two days can feel like a month? I am so excited for our ultra sound, that the days seem to pass so slow. I know that time hasn't actually slowed down, but you could have fooled me. Patrick and I have decied, that when we find out the gender we will celebrate with the purchasing of an outfit. YAAY! The next thing that we are going to purchase would be a stroller, then a crib. How crazy is that! I wont be posting until after the Ultrasound, so wish me luck!

Girls Night Out - Festival of Trees

I had a girls night out with a good friend, Ann. There were some amazing trees! Some of them are kinda blurry. The Festival of Trees is a Charity Event to promote the Primary Children's Hostpital. The Glass Tree was sold for $27,000! Most of the prices of the trees were around $2,000. The Gingerbread house was absolutely enormous! We had so much fun! Thanks Ann!

9 Days, but whos counting....

We have 9 more days before the ultrasound! I am sooo excited. I'm not sure what we are going to do to celebrate. Most likely, go and buy something gender specific! So far I have been really good. I haven't purchased anything for the baby yet. I told my self that there is no reason I should buy clothes or anything because we aren't sure of the gender. Seeing as I do want to be gender specific on a lot of things. Patrick is still convinced that we are having twins. (which I really doubt.) So he doesn't want to buy a stroller just incase there are two... :D HAHA. We have found a stroller that we both like and a crib and dresser set that we really like. I never thought that I would be in a baby store picking things out for my child. Danny wrote me the other day, he said: "I never thought this far ahead into my future when my sister would have a child." Before he was leaving (on his mission) I told him that there was a chance that we would have a baby before he got back. His initial reaction was, and I quote "EWWW!" I thought that was pretty funny. Now of course he is excited for us! Although he told me he refuses to change a diaper... we shall see.

I do have to admit, I bought a HUGE purse that is going to double as my Diaper Bag. Patrick refuses to hold a feminine diaper bag. I told him to get his own then :D I think he is going to get himself a back-back/diaper bag. By the way they do make Men Diaper bags, which I find hilarious, and Patrick finds practical. He says the men are always carrying it any way so get one that he wants. I say they are always under the stroller so why not get one I want. As you see we differ on this topic ;D So we are getting two. LOL. I mean who wouldn't want to have a Nine West Diaper Bag any way :D
